Yep, there’s a duckie in my selfie!

Hi Rafael, thanks for joining us here. There as are many reasons to overeat as there are people who struggle. Not all overeaters are compulsive or binge eaters. However, whichever type of overeating a person does, many, many use food when bored or lonely. Also, it does tend to be easier to put on weight and harder to take off as the years go by. But there is good news. Not too late to make some changes. Even taking a 5 minute walk around your neighborhood when bored might help. Also, volunteering for a cause you like or taking a class for fun might help you meet some people and bring some more interest in your day to day. I’m not a doctor or an expert, I’m just a lady who struggles myself. so if you suspect depression best to go to a Dr. for an evaluation. We are all here to support each other by posting our thoughts and feelings, so feel free to listen to the podcasts or read other posts and tell us what you think or post your own ideas as you try to work through your feelings about food. We care!
