Thoughts? More COD again?

I’m stopping to smell the rosemary on my last hike – a few days after my last birthday.

Hey BCs – let me know what you think. Want to start up our conversation again? If so, please comment below or call the bravery hotline. I think I have some new thoughts (and things to let go of) on my eating/body/bravery journey lately, but I HATE just talking to myself. Thinking about new weekly episodes, 30 minutes or less. Want to hear more? Want to add your thoughts too or are you just into listening? One reason I ask is I want to get hiking back in my week. Also, I’m in a new stage of my intuitive eating….slooooooowwwwwly, weight is moving down. Also grief hits me from time to time over loss of my mom (among other changes at this stage of life) And I would sooooo appreciate support and input. New challenges to ponder… anyway, before I put COD back into my schedule, I wanted your input. And if I don’t hear much, then I guess that’s my answer! πŸ˜‰ xoxoxoxo

Hallo Petra! Thanks so much. It is so good to hear from you. I’m bike riding today, so I’m having a good day, but Life has been challenging since the loss of Mom, and I’m hoping some BCs are still around to help me process all of this. Xoxoxo

I would love to start hearing from you again! I continue to struggle in my battle with food, so any form of support is good. I will mostly listen, with comments when life permits…

Hi Amy, thanks for letting me know. Fair enough as to comments. Much as I love them, I get busy too. I just hate that feeling of talking into the thin air, and when some BCs comment it lets me know I’m not alone with my thoughts – but I understand all BCs can’t comment every show, and on every topic, so it makes me appreciate it all the more when they take time (as you have today) xoxoxo

Yes, I Do! How about some new Foolish Fun? I think there is enough interest to at least give a reboot a try, so when I get home today, I’ll see where I can add COD back into my schedule and it would be great to have a comment or feature to stick in the re-premiere. YIKES now I need to look up how many days it’s been since I first started….Xoxoxo

No worries on how many days in, though it is nice to have some kind of reference when I listen to sevetal episodes in a row and want to relisten to certain parts. i’m learning how to put a period after the word yesterday. Meaning what’s done is done whether I maintained my nutritional plan or I stumbled or fell on my face completely. It was yesterday and each day is a new beginning and a brand new opportunity to try again, and no more beating myself up for whatever I did wrong or the situation I’m in because of self neglect, “today is a new day with no mistakes in it” ( to quote longtime favorite book, Anne of green gables)

Hi Rabbit, thanks for the thoughts! I figured out my days as that is my thing for the regular show. It turned out to be easy as I’d just passed the 3 year mark lately. πŸ˜‰ Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite book and TV series and it’s on my bucket list to visit PEI. Love the quote and I’ll let it inspire me today. xoxoxoxo

Hi Lucie! Hooray, I’m so glad you enjoy the show. You are not alone and I crown you new BC Lucky Lucie as I accidentally just wrote Lucky instead of Lucie and it made me laugh. (Hope you like your nickname, but feel free to let me know if you prefer not πŸ˜‰ )I’d love to hear more about your story as you feel comfortable sharing it. xoxoxoxoxox

    YES YES YES YES.

I miss you and I miss the BC’s. I have felt very alone in my addictions and struggles.

I have worked on reaching out to others but rarely have people reaching down to lift me, I have always felt that the BC’s are great a lifting one another.

Really hoping the overwhelming response was yes, just listened to episode 120 and even though I knew there were more episodes to come the fact you had decided to stop the programmes made me very sad! I am sending you my story via e-mail or google so you can share it as you feel it fits xoxo

LOL. Thanks for the vote of confidence! I think the response was positive enough here and on FB, but not even close to a landslide. It was enough, that, as you know, I felt I might get some conversations started if I recorded my thoughts. It does help me to just speak aloud as that is how I best process my own issues, but I have close to zero interest in all of the work it takes to release shows if it is only me talking or writing. So I say we are on a moderate path where I still find it worth it, and don’t see an end coming to the current production of COD. And I see an uptick in the downloading of the old shows, so perhaps, like you, new BCs will come share their stories in future. Also, like last time, if I DO decide to close production of regular shows, I will let everyone know. xoxoxox

All caught up and so happy to find still going strong, was worried when I hit episode/day 120! I have binged my way to 139 and need to now reserve and hold back so I don’t run out
The thought of a COD drought was just “devastating” LOL!!!
