Remembering Dad Today
I love you Dad. I miss you.
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY (It’s today in the USA)
My own dad passed away 5 years ago. but I’m remembering him today. He was born in the US, but had a strong German heritage and loved to speak German, visit Germany and made sure my brother and I could also speak some of his beloved language. Next episode (Day 55) I’ll be touched and honored to welcome Stephanie aus Deutschland – who said my accent was good when I sang my German song in honor of my dad in episode 16. Dad would have loved that!
Doesn’t matter how long they’ve been gone, that empty space is always there…
Yes, I was lucky to have him and to have some good memories with him.

I have not posted in a while, but I do want to wish a belated Happy Father’s Day to your dear father, Laurie, and to all of our fathers, whether they are still with us or whether they have left our world.
